Fourteen years is a long time

After fourteen years of research, Prof. Dr. Uwe Meier is leaving us as a board member of the Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT). During his time at inIT, Uwe Meier conducted research on topics related to radio frequency technology and the coexistence of radio systems and published in these areas for many years. The focus was on industrial radio standards and robust solutions for applications in the automation industry and mechanical and plant engineering.

He played a major role in forming the inIT as a founding and board member. The board thanks him very much for fourteen years of successful cooperation in research projects, national and international conferences as well as third-party funding acquisition and regrets very much to lose Uwe Meier as a colleague of the institute. In the future, Prof. Meier will focus intensively on the qualification of students. However, he will remain connected to the inIT on a collegial level.

We wish Prof. Dr. Uwe Meier all the best for the future and of course continued success.
