Professor Lohweg hold a speech about Industry 4.0 to Specialists from the Financial Sector

On 24.05.2016 Professor Volker Lohweg, Board Member at Institute Industrial IT (inIT) hold a speech to about 50 specialists from the field of corporate finance at Sparkasse Herford. The speech “Industry 4.0 – innovation driver for SMEs” was about the advantages and potentials of digitalization. The participants from the banking sector were especially interested how new financial models can be implemented in the context of Industry 4.0-issues.

Lohweg emphasized the added value for SMEs and explained: “Especially start-up-companies will benefit from flexible investments in the context of digitalization and business models over the next years”.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Bielefeld and OWL Maschinenbau invited to the event in Herford. In addition to the speech, also the leading-edge cluster “it’s OWL” was presented. Mr. Rohdehutzkors explained IHK’s services provided in the field of business creation. Holger U. Nord (OWL Maschinenbau) gave a topical introduction.
