Keynote Speaker at the Conference of AMA Science Board – Prof. Dr. Lohweg Talked about Distributed Attribute-Based Sensor and Information Fusion as a Basis for Condition Monitoring

(Lemgo, March 2016) It was all about “Sensor Systems for Industry 4.0” at the recent meeting of the AMA Science Council in March 2016. The experts of the Association for Sensor and Measurement (AMA) met at “ZeMA” (Zentrum für Mechatronik und Atuomatisierungstechnik) in Saarbrucken to exchange views about the latest research trends and developments in the field of Sensor and Measurement Technology. Professor Dr. Volker Lohweg (Board Member of Institute Industrial IT) was the keynote speaker at the conference.

Professor Lohweg talked about “distributed attribute-based Sensor and Information Fusion as a basis for Condition Monitoring”, an important component for complex machines and plants. Further presentations about Sensor Systems in context of Industry 4.0 and the introduction of recent research projects as well as a laboratory tour complemented the Conference.
