The inIT has been providing training since 2012, and this year we can also report two successful graduations.

"Congratulations to our dedicated trainees on their excellent final results! I am delighted that they will both be joining our team and beginning their studies at TH OWL in the winter semester. This once again demonstrates the diversity and potential of career paths. Their commitment has paid off, and it's clear that our practical training helps young people to successfully shape their future careers and lives." Resumes Jasmin Zilz, an instructor at inIT.

Tim Esau: Actively shaping digitalisation

Tim Esau has successfully completed his training as a digitalisation management specialist. During this time, he gained valuable experience working in a scientific environment, focusing on the digitisation of analogue processes. He also contributed to the organisation of events, trade fairs and international conferences, including KommA, BVAu and INDIN 2023. He dealt with procurement as well as internal and external coordination. Furthermore, he gained valuable insights into the financial and business processes at inIT by supporting the office.

Building on this extensive experience, Tim will now continue working at the institute as part of the technical and administrative team, further strengthening the inIT workforce. He will continue to support the head office in areas such as financial planning and managing the institute's business processes. He will also be involved in planning and implementing inIT's digitisation projects.

He will combine this with studying at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, applying the knowledge he acquires in a practical environment.

"My time at the inIT has been extremely interesting and informative. I am therefore delighted that I will be able to continue working with the team and contributing to the Institute's projects. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my trainers, Jasmin Zilz and Benedikt Lücke."

Jannik Peters: Data, processes and practical solutions

Jannik Peters has successfully completed his training as an IT specialist for data and process analysis. The training focused on data-driven software development and optimising programmes and processes. In this context, he designed software interfaces for courses, improved data quality by setting up middleware, and managed databases. He was also involved in planning and executing conferences and trade fairs, most recently KommA and BVAu 2024.

This qualification marks an important milestone in Jannik Peters' professional career in data analysis.

“I was particularly impressed by the wide range of personal development opportunities, whether through workshops, formats such as the Bridge Days, or qualifications such as the three-week stay in Ireland, where I obtained the 'Kaufmann International' certification. I am very grateful to Benedikt Lücke and Jasmin Zilz for their support throughout my training. I look forward to continuing to play an active role in the future and helping to shape the work at inIT.”

He will remain at the institute as a technical and administrative employee, supporting various areas such as data collection and aggregation from distributed data sources, providing support for practical courses and implementing AI-supported systems.

He also plans to begin studying data science at TH OWL in the winter semester of 2025, in order to deepen his knowledge and engage in scientific analysis and interpretation of large amounts of data.

"Congratulations to Tim and Jannik for their outstanding achievements. We are very much looking forward to continuing to work with both of them and are convinced that they will profitably contribute their acquired knowledge to future projects," says Benedikt Lücke, trainer at inIT.

The entire inIT team congratulates Jannik and Tim on passing their final exams!

Our strong team continues to grow

The future is also taken care of: this year, we were once again able to recruit a trainee IT specialist specialising in application development. Her training will begin on 1 August. This will allow Tim and Jannik's knowledge and experience to be passed on and further developed – a win-win situation for everyone involved.
