The Institute Industrial IT (inIT) and the research institute ifak e.V. in Magdeburg organize every year the technical colloquium "Communication in Automation KommA", which takes place alternately in Magdeburg and Lemgo and is intended to be a forum for science and industry for all technical/scientific issues related to industrial communication. This time the forum already celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Together with four research assistants from inIT and the partner institute Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, Professor Jürgen Jasperneite traveled to Magdeburg on November 20 and 21 to present recent research results from the SmartFactoryOWL and Lemgo Digital.
Following the informative presentations, Jürgen Jasperneite invited the German-speaking experts in industrial communications (IIoT) to KommA2020 in Lemgo. On October 29, 2020, the topics of real-time communication, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, 5G/TSN/OPC-UA and safety and security will once again take center stage. "KommA has established itself as a family reunion of experts in this field," says Professor Jasperneite, already looking forward to the next edition of the expert colloquium.
