OPAK: Offene Engineering-Plattform für autonome, mechatronische Automatisierungskomponenten in funktionsorientierter Architektur

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Oliver Niggemann
01.10.2013 bis 30.09.2016

The objective of OPAK is a simplification of all design steps required for an automation facility. The scope of these steps includes planning, initial operation, operation and future modification. This will be achieved with the aid of a new automation architecture and corresponding methods and tools. The focus lies on a man-machine interface with enhanced and well-suited engineering tools. The user should be able to design a production process in such a way that the actual implementation is easily feasible. The effort needed for installation and initial operation should be reduced to a minimum.
