Communication in Automation 2020 in Cyberspace

The annual colloquium will take place as planned, but online

This year's annual colloquium "Communication in Automation" will be moved into cyberspace: The conference chairs Professor Jürgen Jasperneite and Professor Ulrich Jumar have decided to hold the event online this year due to the COVID19 pandemic. Cancellation was out of the question, they said, because the exciting topics and issues surrounding industrial communication should not be withheld from those interested.

KommA 2020 will take place as planned on Thursday, October 29. Despite the unusual format, all of the day's items are to be retained in the schedule. In addition to the keynote "Large Scale New IP based Network for Smart Factories" by Dr. David Lou, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer at Huawei, the technical presentations and post presentations, a lively exchange for networking and discussion will be enabled despite the online event. More information will be available soon on the homepage at jk-komma.de.
