The world’s largest IEEE conference focused on industrial communication, WFCS 2023, will be co-organized for the second time by the Institute Industrial IT (inIT) in cooperation with the University of Pavia in Italy. This year, Prof. Facchinetti (University of Pavia) and Prof. Wisniewski (inIT/TH OWL) have taken on the roles of general co-chairs and, with the help of the conference committee members, are working to create a 3-day conference program full of the newest insights from the industrial communication research domain. The program will accompany exciting keynotes and an industrial forum featuring top-class experts from industry and research organizations.

The conference will take place in the beautiful and historic city of Pavia, Italy, from April 26-28, 2023. Work-in-Progress (WiP) contributions can still be submitted until March 10th (https://wfcs23.unipv.it/). The decisive engagement of inIT in the organization of the WFCS is visible through other essential roles on the organizing committee, such as WiP co-chair by Prof. Trsek and Publicity co-chair by Maxim Friesen. In addition, inIT board members Prof. Jürgen Jasperneite and Benedikt Lücke are involved in the technical program committee.
