On 25. April Professor Volker Lohweg (board, inIT) held a speech about autonomous sensors and their key role in the production of tomorrow at the Forum. He presented an approach for information fusion: Within their measuring task, a certain autonomy is attributed to sensors. These adapt independently to their task and can set up communication with other sensors for generating condensed information about the measurement objects.
