April brings a real annual highlight to the calendar: Optical & Digital Document Security (ODDS) will be held in Vienna from April 11 to 13.

ODDS is the professional conference for physical, digital and virtual document security. People involved in the digital transaction, identity and authentication communities and as specifiers, designers, manufacturers and issuers of secure documents will find the conference a valuable forum to explain, learn, network and explore opportunities.

inIT Institute Director Professor Volker Lohweg is co-organizer of the conference and is part of the committee. In addition, inIT is represented with the paper "Intaglio Style Transfer on Computational-Resource-Limited Systems such as Mobile Devices" by Prof. Volker Lohweg, Prof. Helene Dörksen, Julian Bültemeier and Anton Pfeifer. "In our paper we present an approach to partially automate the process of creating intaglio images. The objective is to train a model inadvance that is used to stylize intaglio images even on computational resource-limited systems," Pfeifer gives a first insight.
