First Dissertation at ISA Paderborn – Dr. Tobias Isenberg Successfully Earned his Doctorate Degree

(Lemgo, 10.05.2016) The “International Graduate School of Intelligent Systems in Automation Technology” (ISA) of the Institute Industrial IT of OWL University and Paderborn University has its first PhD graduate.

Dr. Tobias Isenberg successfully finished his doctoral studies with the topic "Induction-based Verification of Timed Systems" on 10.05.2016. inIT board member and spokesman of the ISA, Professor Oliver Niggemann is pleased with the first dissertation: "Firstly, we would like to congratulate Dr. Isenberg. Also we are proud of the successful collaboration of both the institutes in Paderborn and Lemgo".

It's the aim of the international graduate school offers a stimulating and supportive environment for PhD candidates who want to do basic research in the field of intelligent and adaptive automation engineering. The research projects concentrate on methods for the configuration, diagnose, control and optimization of technical systems. The International Graduate School ISA is an interdisciplinary program run by researchers from Computer Science, Automation Engineering and Mechatronics.

At the moment 6 further dissertations are supervised at ISA graduate school.
