Completion of the AI Marketplace after three years of project work

What benefits do AI applications bring to product development and how can companies gain easy access to AI solution providers? The it's OWL project AI Marketplace started with this initial question a good three years ago. Now the project has been concluded with a three-day event from 22-24 May 2023 in Paderborn.

The inIT has worked intensively on the topic of data, while other project partners have taken care of use cases. In close cooperation with colleagues from the Heinz Nixdorf Institute at the University of Paderborn, the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechatronic Design IEM and the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, among others, the research assistants Alexander Dicks, Julian Knaup and Robert Bakschik developed a so-called Data Governance Readiness Check and supplemented it with a white paper. This provides SMEs with a good introduction to data governance.

After the internal project conclusion on 22.05.2023, the system:ability conference took place from 23-24 May 2023 with all participating project partners. The system:ability conference provides a forum for the exchange of experience between science and business on intelligent and sustainable product development. It therefore offered the right format to present and discuss the results of the AI Marketplace. The conference was characterised by exciting and enriching keynotes, among others by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roman Dumitrescu and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Wörner. In the course of the AI Marketplace, the AI Marketplace GmbH was founded. We wish the managing directors Ruslan Bernijazov and Leon Özcan every success!
