Second milestone of the AI marketplace

The last project year starts

Alexander Dicks and other project partners are looking forward to meeting again live.

The meeting took place in Paderborn.

Last February, the first milestone meeting for the AI marketplace project launched in 2020 had to be held as an online conference, but on March 8, the project participants came together again for the second milestone meeting at a one-day event in Paderborn. This gave the project another enormous boost this year.

In the morning, the results from the areas of science, technology, business and application were presented. Alexander Dicks, research associate at inIT, presented the jointly developed results of several project partners on the topic of "Data for AI in product creation" in the Science area. The focus was on standard data formats for product creation, data transformation, data checkup and data sets for product creation.

This was followed in the afternoon by three different workshops on "Challenge to Challenge Matching," "Data Spaces," and "Business Model Alternatives & App Store." "I myself participated in the Challenge to Challenge Matching. The point here was to test this for quality of search results, quality of AI tags and handling," reports Dicks. Challenge to Challenge Matching will later be used to search existing challenges on the AI marketplace and compare them with the company's own in order to find similar challenges and thus, if necessary, solutions.
