Towards Dataspace Readiness: A Formal Model for Enterprise Data Landscapes Assessment
Philip Sehr , Jonas Kortner , Natalia Moriz , Christian Wittenbröker , Mohamed Bassam Kassabji and Henning Trsek,Industry 4.0 technologies have a large potential to increase efficiency not only in production, but also in quality management, which is commonly known as Quality 4.0. Digitizing quality management can improve the process itself as well as the documentation. This paper introduces a method, which facilitates the Asset Administration Shell as a central information platform to manage a quality control process of a food production machine. The concept also includes a digital document to keep a record of the completed process. As the main contribution of this paper, we specifically address a process management in a B2B scenario, between a manufacturer and an operator of a production machine. This is achieved with a specifically designed submodel for the quality control process in combination with software components from both parties. We evaluate the concept using a practical implementation and lay out the perspective for future applications.
