itsowl-TT-OMADes: Optische Messtechnik zur Auswertung gedruckter 3D-Strukturen

01.09.2016 bis 10.10.2017

In the framework of the transfer project we will carry out a study on 3D measurement technology for quality control. On the one hand the focus is on inspection systems for surface control, and on concepts for evaluation of 3D microstructures on the other hand. The latter are formed by new printing technologies whose printing results are including additional functionalities like, e.g., data storage (printed electronics, RFID). In this context we will also highlight counterfeit protection and product piracy. By specific printing techniques, it is possible to apply security features on widely varied surfaces which also show 3D structures and have to be quality-controlled. In summary, this project's goal is to enable the BST eltromat to enter new market segments and to develop new concepts for quality control.
