KI Akademie OWL

01.07.2024 bis 31.12.2028

The OWL AI Academy serves to consolidate and deepen the existing expertise on artificial intelligence (AI) at the universities in OWL with the aim of standardized process chains and the communication of opportunities and risks with stakeholders. Focus on content

  • on technological and social AI security and addressing limitations of AI,
  • as well as individualized AI components and AI for enabling inclusion

through AI approaches for limited data and resources.

A unique selling point of the OWL AI Academy is the interdisciplinary approach, which integrates in-depth AI expertise with approaches from engineering as well as the social sciences and humanities and enables a differentiated view of AI, as required for the appropriate implementation of the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act. This positioning with the aim of enabling people to use AI components responsibly, competently and sustainably addresses the needs of companies and society as stakeholders.
