The aim of the transfer project is to develop a PC-based optimization platform for conveyor systems such as high-bay warehouses. The optimization platform allows precise and highly automated analysis and optimization of machine operations in terms of energy efficiency.  The platform initially collects current process data and on the basis of this data, a mathematical model of the energy consumption of electric drives is created. This model can now simulate the drive power to determine the energy-optimized movement profiles of the drives using Artificial Intelligence methods.
