FULOG: Funkbasierter Datenlogger zur Integration in Fertigungsprozesse

01.07.2010 bis 30.06.2012

The aim of the FuLOG project is to develop a miniaturized, energy-autonomous single-channel data logger for direct integration in workpieces or in manufacturing processes. The possible sampling rate exceeds 100 Hz. Communication for parameterization, data exchange and triggering of measurements is radio-based. Several loggers can be integrated in parallel into an overall system, which can then be started synchronously via a radio link. This allows easy scalability of the system depending on the measurement task. The geometric form factor is chosen in such a way that a very simple integration into workpieces (bore) is possible. This makes it possible to use the system within production processes quickly and easily.
Technically, a general base module will be realized to which various sensors can be coupled. The modular prototype system created in the project is to be validated and tested for the application field of temperature measurement in gluing processes in the wood industry in order to demonstrate the application capabilities as well as the extremely simple handling.
