Evaluation boards make it easier for developers to get started with new software and hardware. Siemens offers the ERTEC 200 Development Kit (EB200) for developers of Profinet IO devices. Its suitability has now been tested by the inIT Institute Industrial IT at the OWL University of Applied Sciences. The result is a guideline that makes it much easier for developers to get started with this topic.
