For more than 13 years, the Institute Industrial IT (inIT) has been educating committed young professionals in various IT professions. Whether IT specialists for application development, data and process analysis, or system integration, or business administrators for digitization management, training at inIT combines practical learning with exciting research and the latest technologies.
The inIT team continues to grow this year: Yuliia Blashchuk began her training as an IT specialist for application development in August.
Enthusiastic about technology – motivated by curiosity
Yuliia knew early on that she wanted to pursue a technical career. “I'm very interested in new technologies and want to keep learning,” she says with a smile. What she particularly likes about IT is that it combines creativity and logic – every task brings new challenges and opportunities to discover something new.
Yuliia has already gained some initial experience in web development. She can now deepen this knowledge during her training at inIT – and apply it in real projects at the same time.
Learning through practice – first projects
Thanks to her prior knowledge, Yuliia was able to work on several exciting projects in her first few months. She designed and programmed a website using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and used Git to version her work. She found one project particularly exciting, in which she developed a LoRaWAN-based display for temperature and air pressure values. MQTT was used for data transmission. Using an ESP8266 microcontroller, she created her own sensors and was even able to integrate them into Home Assistant to read and display measured values automatically.
“I really enjoy working with new technologies and learning something new every day,” says Yuliia. “At inIT, I have the opportunity to try new things and constantly improve—I really enjoy that.”
Music, books, and spending time together
Yuliia also has many interests away from the screen. In her free time, she sings and plays the guitar to clear her head. She also enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends – on trips or simply enjoying a cozy evening together. “These moments are important to me. They give me energy and motivation for my work,” she says.
Training at the cutting edge of research
inIT offers trainees the opportunity to learn directly at the interface between science and practice. New technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, and Industry 4.0 are not just buzzwords here, but an everyday reality. This allows trainees to experience firsthand how research is put into practice – and to shape the digital future actively.
We are delighted to welcome Yuliia to the inIT team and wish her every success, exciting experiences, and enjoyment in her training!
